THE DREAM
This is just a message for anyone that I can get in touch with that I
think would be willing to help me with this dream that I have. I am
trying to start a small animal rescue in my area(Victoria B.C) but it is
something that I am going to need help with. I am only a student and
although I don't have a lot of funds I do have some money, a huge
heart and as much time as I can muster up. The problem for me is
money and space. I am hoping to gather a group of people that would
be willing to work as fostering homes to small animals I am mostly
trying to help with rats but would take in other small animals too. Even
if you can only take one animal youare helping in a major way! I am
looking for several things right now.
1) Fostering homes for small creatures of
every kind ( I would prefer people from Vancouver Island,
Vancouver and Washinton areas, if you are interested e-mail me and I
will send you a form to fill out)
2)a vet to provide me with free vet care
for the animals that come into my rescue
3)some pet stores and distribution centres
that could help me in any way with food,
cages or accessories. I have collected
some cages, I think that my main concern
is food.
I decided to do this because I have spent most I my life trying
to figure out what I want to do with my life. Really all I want to do
is help the animals that are in need. I am currently trying to get into the
education department at the University of Victoria and I really like kids
and I know that this job could provide me with the funds to open up
a full blown rescue. Untill then I am hoping to open a small rescue for
small animals to do what I can. I have lots of time that I am willing
to spend on this all I need is your help . Please if you can help me in
